THE DAWN OF A NEW SEASON!
The days of suits, white dresses and fancy bonnets may be long past, but the celebration of Easter remains big deal in the Wildwoods.
It's also a rite of passage, marking the arrival of a new season - highlighted by Opening Day festivities at Morey's Piers.
The Giant Wheel will be spinning again and a number of familiar places will be back up and running in mere days.
Each week, this list will update businesses scheduled to open in the coming weeks and months, as we move closer to Summer 2018.

Now OPEN!
This past weekend was a BIG one for returning businesses, with the Ravioli House and 2 Mile Landing & Bar and The Crab House welcoming guests back.
On the Boardwalk, Mack's Pizza kicked off its 66th season at Wildwood Avenue and Original Hot Spot #1 its 56th year. Mariner's Arcade and Franconi's Pizza also opened, joining other favorites such as Sam's Pizza, Gateway 26, Rapunzel's and The Original Fudge Kitchen.
Around the island, a variety of businessses are back up and running.

Coming Up...
March ends and April begins with a big bang, as Morey's Piers celebrates its Opening Day on Saturday and Easter Celebration on Sunday at Mariner's Pier (Boardwalk & Schellenger Avenue). The Giant Wheel, Sea Serpent, Ghost Ship and more will be back in action, and a number of eateries will be open as well - yes, that also means Curley's Fries (at both Schellenger Avenue and 26th Avenue).
A number of Boardwalk shops and stores will return this weekend, including What Goes On (3912 Boardwalk) and The Fractured Prune, which will be offering free donuts on Saturday.
Around the island, #1 Tavern, Home of the Super Tully Nut returns; on the opposite end of the, umm, nutritional spectrum, Fresh on Fifth and the Wild Burrito will be back as well!
