Historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is reopen for weekends as of today.
Hours for the rest of March and all of April will be Friday through Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm. Admission is FREE.
On March 31 and April 30, the lighthouse will be offering Full Moon Night Climbs from 8 pm to 10 pm.
The lighthouse is located at 111 North Central Avenue in North Wildwood, overlooking scenic Hereford Inlet.
It was completed and became operational in 1874, less than 10 years after the end of the American Civil War. The structure was moved 150 feet to the west (its current location) in 1913, after a severe storm damaged its foundation.
