Something new and different is coming to the Wildwoods Boardwalk this Spring in the form of Boardwalk Yoga!
The island's first beachfront yoga studio is presently in the early stages of development at Montgomery Avenue, just across from the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Co-operators and instructors Jason Forslund and Jarah Moskovitz intend to begin holding classes in the space by the end of March.
"We intend to create a fun yoga studio in a unique setting," Forslund told Wildwood 365. "We will be primarily teaching Power Vinyasa, which is like power yoga, the short term for it. We're going to have beginner classes and advanced classes, and yin yoga, which is like a slow paced yoga. We'd like to have classes 3 or 4 times a day, 7 days a week."
Other plans for Boardwalk Yoga include:
* A retail space at the front of the unit, selling various yoga and wellness items
* Affordable class prices with various options for residents and vacationers
* Up to 30 FREE parking spaces for patrons behind the studio
* On-site men's and women's showers and lockers
