The new Fractured Prune donut shop at 2006 Boardwalk in North Wildwood will celebrate its Grand Opening on Friday, June 23 at 9:30 a.m.
The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will host a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, open to the public. A sampling of tasty treats will be provided.
The shop, which opened last month, will be open seven days a week starting June 17, from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.

About The Fractured Prune...
The Fractured Prune specializes in hot hand-dipped donuts, breakfast sandwiches and hot and cold beverages.
Customers can customize their donuts with 19 different glazes such as mocha, peanut butter, and mixed berry and 13 different toppings such as crumbled bacon, crushed Oreo, and graham cracker crumbs. Those numbers don't include limited time flavors either.
The OC Sand, a hot donut dipped in honey glaze and covered in cinnamon and sugar, is the Fractured Prune's biggest seller. The Prunewich, their signature breakfast sandwich, is a customer favorite and features egg, cheese, choice of breakfast meat served on a hot donut. Customers can wash down a tasy breakfast treat with a cold speciality latte or a hot coffee, espresso, tea, or latte.
The Fractured Prune opened it's original location in Ocean City, Maryland in 1976. As of today, there are over a dozen licensed franchise locations and the number keeps growing.
