Easter Bunny visits, egg hunts and more this weekend

Egg hunts on the beach...
a longtime Wildwoods tradition!
There will be no shortage of "egg-cellent" family activities this Easter Weekend in the Wildwoods!

Festivities include four egg hunts - two each on Saturday and Sunday - and Morey's Piers' annual Easter Celebration on Sunday.

The fun kicks off with the Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt at noon on Saturday. The event, for children 11 and under, will be held on the beach at 19th Avenue in North Wildwood.

At the same time, the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood. Children 12 and under will have the chance to dig for eggs filled with toys (plus "golden eggs" with larger prizes).

On Easter Sunday, Ed's Funcade will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Hay from noon to 1:30 p.m. Children 12 and under will search for eggs and other prizes in front of the casino/arcade at 23rd & Boardwalk in North Wildwood.

Gateway 26 will also host an egg hunt on Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be on hand at the casino/arcade at 26th & Boardwalk for free photo opportunities, between 1 - 4 p.m.

Morey's Piers' Easter Celebration opens with a continental breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Jumbo's Boardwalk Grill & Eatery, Boardwalk & Schellenger, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Mariner's Pier will be open from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., with roving entertainment, face painting and more. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures at the Parent's Pavilion from noon to 4 p.m. Children 12 and under will be able to pick an egg for a chance to win prizes.
