A number of readers have asked for more information regarding the Wildwoods Family Fun Night & Bonfire event scheduled for Friday, April 14.
Here it is, straight from the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce...
ENTRANCE: Rio Grande Avenue and Andrews Avenue will be used. However, as a pre-purchased ticket holder you can avoid any lines by entering at Andrews Avenue.
RE-ENTRANCE: You may leave the event area and enter again as long as you have your hand stamped.
PARKING: The Wildwoods Convention Center parking lots will be open during the event to the public for an additional fee.
FOOD, SNACKS & COOLERS:
• Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will be selling food/snacks at the event for your convenience.
• We will allow coolers in the event area but, all coolers will be checked at the entrance.
• No glass at all will be allowed on the beach.
• We are offering a Make Your Own Smores area – You must purchase the Smores Packs & Sticks ($5.00 a pack – 2 smores and 1 smore cooking stick) from the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce in order to use this fire pit area. NO EXCEPTIONS.
GAME GARDEN: We will have a family game garden (corn hole, ladder ball, checkers, Jenga, connect four etc.) set up at this event for everyone to play. Games are first come first serve but please share. Children will only be allowed in this area with an adult.
CLEAN UP: We will have a lot of trash cans in the event area. Please make sure you clean up and leave our beach better than you found it!
