Wildwood High School Students Get a Glimpse into the World of Hospitality and Hotel Operations

Morey’s Piers Exposes Students
 to Future Career Opportunities
In the Hospitality Industry

Fifteen high school students attended Wednesday’s workshop as part of an ongoing series to prepare students for college and careers by introducing them to new opportunities within the amusement and hospitality industry.

On Wednesday students toured various Morey Resort properties to get a glimpse into the world of hospitality and hotel operations. Students learned everything from the history of hotel development in the Wildwoods and the challenges seasonal hotels face to the importance of customer service and attention to detail.

The day concluded with a networking lunch with hotel management and staff.  This was the third and final workshop for the students this fall.

After the New Year, Morey’s Piers plans on hosting additional workshops in areas such as Retail and Games Management, Pier Operations, Maintenance and Recruiting and Hiring.
