From the North Wildwood Police Department:
The Wild Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Detours will be set up in the north end of the City of North Wildwood between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to allow runners to pass. North Wildwood Police Officers will be assigned to traffic posts throughout the route to assist motorists.
Expect road closures northbound and westbound on the following streets: JFK Beach Drive, 2nd Av., Surf Av., 1st Av., Central Av. and Anglesea Drive. Spruce Avenue (State Highway Rt. 147) will have one lane open for westbound vehicular traffic off of the island across the Beach Creek Bridge.
