O'Boyle's Irish Pub closing its doors

O'Boyle's Irish Pub, a popular fixture on the west side of the island, has announced that it will be closing its doors for good after this weekend.

Located at 2507 Delaware Avenue (on the North Wildwood side of 26th Avenue, across from Super Fresh), O'Boyle's has been known as a year round hangout for locals and visitors alike.

We will greatly miss the friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and classic Irish cuisine - and of course those legendary 8 a.m. pub breakfasts (with Bloody Mary specials).

From all of us here at Wildwood 365, we would like to wish the entire O'Boyle's family the very best...

Posted on Facebook, 6 p.m. on 10/8/15:

We've been looking for the words to say for a while now and unfortunately there really aren't any words to express how we feel.

The has come to say goodbye. This is harder for us than one can imagine. A day we never thought we'd see is upon us.

With that being said, on behalf of our whole family, we would like to thank you for your patronage, support, and well wishes!

Please join us all weekend long as we make our final mark. Sunday we would love to have you all join us for one last party - 4 to 6 following the Eagles game.

Let's do this ting in typical O'Boyles fashion!!!

Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! You will all be missed, but we will forever cherish the memories!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

- Doris, Maureen, Dorrie and family
