Wildwood Named Best Shore Town by NJ.com

PRESS RELEASE

In a vote that spanned eight shore towns from Monmouth to Cape May counties, when it comes to the best, Wildwood is number one, according to the readers of NJ.com.

“The winner of our best shore town may come as no shock,” wrote Peter Genovese in a recent post on NJ.com, announcing Wildwood as the top vote-getter in a recent online poll.

The city received 35.5 percent of the total votes, surpassing Lavalette, which garnered 27.2 percent and Ocean Grove with 21.7 percent.

“Being named number one shore town by NJ.com is another example of the public’s recognition of Wildwood as New Jersey’s premier beach vacation destination,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano.

Recently named as the number one rising vacation destination in the United States by TripAdvisor, the city has recently added more amenities to its beach to increase Wildwood’s wow factor for Summer 2015.

“We are thrilled to know that visitors to Wildwood know what we we’ve known for years – Wildwood is tops. We wish to thank all that voted and we invite everyone to visit Wildwood to experience all that we have to offer,” said Mayor Troiano.
