As reported by CBS Philly and KYW Newsradio's Mike DeNardo earlier this afternoon, Wildwood has been ranked #1 in the nation on TripAdvisor's list of "Destinations on the Rise!"
According to the popular travel site, Wildwood "generated the greatest increase in positive reviews" among U.S. vacation spots over the past year.
Obviously, this is very welcome news, simply for the national recognition alone. To top any list that groups together all vacation destinations in the country is a big deal.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning of an upward trend that will see even more positive feedback from vacationers. Online reviewers can be fickle, especially in forum that provides, essentially, anonymity and free reign.
Delving into and capitalizing on this overall result will be an important part of the follow-up process for the island's tourism honchos, as well as individual businesses.
