The Wildwoods Fifth Annual Tattoo Expo & Show Brings the Body Art Community to the Wildwoods Convention Center for a Weekend of Events - Friday, August 15th - Sunday, August 17th

The Wildwoods, NJ – August 1, 2014 – The Fifth Annual Wildwood Tattoo Expo and Show, presented by Mike Siderio of locally owned Rebel Image Tattoo, takes place Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17 inside the Wildwoods Convention Center – an event perfect for tattoo enthusiasts, as well as those interested in the unique art form of tattooing and body art design.

Hours for the Tattoo Expo and Show are noon - 11 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 16 and 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 17.

The Tattoo Expo and Show will bring the professional body art community to the Wildwoods for a weekend full of events. The event will host major national tattoo artists, as well as activities including tattoo contests, live tattooing, art exhibits and more. Over 150 tattoo artists will be attending, including celebrity tattooers such as Amy Nicoletto - formerly of LA Ink; Ink Master contestants Gentle Jay Blondel, MMA Figther Mark Matthews, Joseph Matisa, Jackie Jennings and James Vaughn; Best Ink Season 2 finalist Alli Baker; Tattoo Tony Rodriguez – personal tattoo artist to Bret Michaels & Lynyrd Skynyrd; and many more.

Spectators will be entertained with a Lucky Daredevil Thrill Show featuring a fast-paced and funny, death-defying daredevil stunt spectacular with the glitter, glamour and gut-wrenching thrills of a Las Vegas show. The Thrill Show will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 15; at 2 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, August 16; and at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 17.

The world's strongest man and 8th Wonder of the World, Titano Strongman, will perform strange, bizarre and mind-blowing acts that will amaze, entice and titillate the senses. Titano is a world record-holder, title competitor and theatrical performer specializing in "Feats of Strength" not seen since The Golden Era of Circus Sideshow. Performances will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 15; at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 16; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 17.

Butch Patrick, best known as the iconic television character Eddie Munster, will be attending the event on Friday, August 15 from noon - 11 p.m. and on Saturday, August 16 from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

The Ms. Vixen Tattoo Swimsuit Contest, hosted by pinup model Laura Lynn, will take place on Saturday, August 16 at 7 p.m. where the first place winner will receive a photo spread in Rebel Ink Magazine. The entry fee is $10 for ladies 18 years old and over. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded.

Industry legend Philadelphia Eddie will be signing his book series “Tattooing: The Life and Times of Crazy Philadelphia Eddie; My Vida Loca.” He has been a part of the transition of this art form from its early days, first as a social taboo, then subject to prohibition, up until today where tattooing as a legitimate form of self-expression and art. Philadelphia Eddie has had a prolific career as a tattoo artist, fighting for the legitimacy of tattooing as an art form and industry. This is the story of his life and times, and the story of tattooing in America, and what it took for us as a society to get from there to here.

Daily passes for the event’s activities are $20; weekend passes are also available for $40 for all three days. Tickets will be available at the door.
