LOCAL PRESALE offers 25% savings on tickets – Easter Weekend at Convention Center Box Office

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will play games in only one U.S. town in the summer of 2014 – Wildwood, NJ.  Following 300 massively successful games this winter and spring, the Globetrotters will host four games and four clinics at the Wildwoods Convention Center from Wednesday, Aug. 6 to Saturday, Aug. 9 – with games at 7 p.m. nightly.

The Wildwood events are an exclusive extension of the Globetrotters’ 2014 “Fans Rule” world tour.  Fans will decide the rules via a live vote during the game and in advance at www.harlemglobetrotters.com/rule

The Globetrotters are also offering 2-hour Basketball Clinics on the Wildwoods Convention Center court on each game day, August 6, 7, 8, 9, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.  Globetrotter stars lead each clinic, which is designed for fans ages 6-12.  A spot in the clinic costs $49 and includes a voucher for one complementary ticket to one of the four games (valued up to $45).  Space is limited.

Local fans can purchase tickets at 25% off and no ticket fees at the Wildwoods Convention Center Box Office on the boardwalk over Easter Weekend. Offer excludes Row 1 courtside seats.  Fans can purchase tickets during special box office hours:

Saturday, April 19 from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Sunday, April 20 from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Starting Monday, April 21, tickets for all games and clinics will be available at http://www.ticketmaster.com, the Wildwoods Convention Center box office, or call 800-745-3000.

The Globetrotters return to Wildwood for the fourth consecutive summer.  In previous years, the team has engulfed themselves in the local community leading up to the games, including school visits, rides on the Sightseer Tram Car, and appearances throughout Cape May and Atlantic Counties.

Fan favorites Flight Time Lang and Big Easy Lofton – who captured the hearts of millions of fans worldwide during two top-four finishes on “The Amazing Race” – hope the third time will be the charm. The duo is currently competing on this season of the Emmy Award-winning CBS Television series.  As of April 16, 2014, they are still racing after seven episodes.

Rosters in Wildwood may vary and are subject to change.
