PRESS RELEASE

The Wildwoods 2014 advertising campaign “Can’t Stop This Feeling!” was unveiled by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA).

The 2014 campaign evolved from the 2012/2013 campaign that asked visitors, ‘What do you love about the Wildwoods?’  The previous campaign received overwhelming responses with participants expressing their strong emotional connection and feelings about the Wildwoods.

“People feel so emotionally connected to the Wildwoods. Our new “Can’t Stop This Feeling!” campaign captures those same emotions and nostalgia with new video footage, photography, music and a new twist on the message,” explained John Siciliano, executive director of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA). “Whether you love the boardwalk, shopping, restaurants, miles of free beaches or any of the other fun offerings in the Wildwoods, there is an emotional connection unique to the Wildwoods that’s generational."

GWTIDA has set up an exciting contest to give visitors a chance to experience the Wildwoods first-hand. Winners will receive a 3-day, 2-night stay in a Wildwoods hotel/motel of their choice, along with meals and passes to Morey’s Amusement Piers, Splash Zone Waterpark and other exciting attractions.  Everyone can enter for a chance to win one of the two fabulous Wildwoods family vacations online at www.wildwoodsnj.com/win-a-family-vacation.cfm.

The 2014 Wildwoods print ad series displays families joyfully experiencing the beach and making lasting memories in the Wildwoods. New billboards, along with new online radio spots will feature a completely updated version of the Wildwood Days song and follow the theme and format of the television commercials. The new campaign will also be integrated into the Wildwoods’ Social Media plan with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram accounts.
