PRESS RELEASE
It may be cold outside, but the Wildwoods Convention Center is heating up with a jam-packed calendar of events all winter long.
An average of 5,000 participants and spectators attend each Convention Center event during the colder months in the Wildwoods, keeping the shore town “in business” all year long. From youth sports such as the Futsal Regional Championships and Cheer Tech to the Spring Bridal Fair, the Convention Center has something for everyone.
“We work hard to bring great events to the Convention Center that attract all audiences,” said the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) Executive Director & CFO, John Siciliano. “The economic impact to the business on our island is substantial during the winter months bringing added visitors and revenue,” he added.
Mark your calendars and head out to some of the Wildwoods Convention Center’s hot events throughout February and March:
February 15-17: U.S. Futsal Northeast Regional Championships
March 2: Cheer Tech National Rec & School Championships
March 8-9: Cheer Tech National Cheerleading & Dance Championships
March 15: Saint Patrick's Day Celebration & Parade
March 23: Spring Bridal Fair
March 29-30: Special Olympics NJ Spring Sports Festival Basketball Finals
