"WA-WA-WA-WA-WATCH THE TRAMCAR, PLEASE!"
Summer "unofficially" begins three weeks from today, at the start of Memorial Day Weekend.
But, the season "unofficially unofficially" starts tonight at 6 p.m., when Sightseer Tramcar service begins for 2013!
Service is scheduled for tonight, tomorrow (Saturday) day and night, and Sunday during the day.
Trams run north-south (in both directions) from the start of the Boardwalk at 16th Avenue to the south end at Cresse Avenue. Cost to ride for each direction is $3.00.
The tramcars are entering their 64th season of operation, having begun service on June 11, 1949.
