Wildwood named in "10 great places to fly a kite" article in USA Today

The Wildwoods' massive, soft sand beaches are an ideal playground for an endless variety of activities - and a longtime favorite destination of kite enthusiasts!

In the Travel section of today's USA Today, John Barresi, president of the American Kitefliers Association, shares his 10 of his favorite kite-flying destinations, and we made the list!

"The powerdery beaches offer plenty of room for running and flying," noted Barresi. "The best kite beach is at West Rio Grande Avenue... just south of the Convention Center."

That area, of course, is the location of the spectacle that is the annual Wildwoods International Kite Festival, held every Memorial Day Weekend.
