As the Wildwoods prepare to celebrate St. Patrick's Day festivities this weekend, we will have the luck of the Amish on our side!
The long-awaited Amish Market of North Wildwood (700 New Jersey Avenue) will host its grand opening this Friday, March 15th, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon.
From the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce...
The Amish Market of North Wildwood brings the taste of Lancaster County right here to the Wildwoods. Through a partnership with Shady Maples in Lancaster County, The Amish Market of North Wildwood will bring locals and visitors fresh breads, pies, doughnuts, whoopie pies, and other baked goods daily.
The on-site butcher will slice the finest black angus meats. The market will feature Deitz & Watson lunch meats and a salad bar with over 45 toppings to choose from.
The Amish Market of North Wildwood boasts the island's first on-site barbecue pit cooking smoked ribs and rotisserie chickens on the premises. Delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemonades and fresh fruit smoothies will be the perfect way to wash down the delectable prepared foods.
On your way out, you'll be able to pick up some fresh cut flowers, Amish jams and pickled goods, and regular and organic produce.
