Welcome to LepreCarSeafarerJam '11!

Um, OK... maybe that title needs some work.

The important thing is, the rain has cleared out and we are looking ahead to a (hopefully!) beautiful first full day of Fall, packed with events and activities all over the island.

Today is Day 3 of both the Irish Fall Festival and the Boardwalk Classic Car Show, and both events are in full swing.

There is absolutely no shortage of live entertainment options up in North Wildwood at Irish Fest today, and continuing well into tomorrow. Click the link above or HERE and HERE for more info and schedules.

Classic cars will be displayed on the Boardwalk from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The car show wraps up with an auction today (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and the awarding of the "Best of" prizes (6 - 8 p.m.), both at the Wildwoods Convention Center and FREE to all spectators.

Down in the Crest, the borough is holding its annual Seafarers Celebration today.

The all-day event features a festival from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. out at Sunset Lake along New Jersey Ave., between Rambler & Miami Roads.

The fun concludes with live entertainment at Centennial Park from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and a beachfront fireworks show immediately after.

Today is also Morey's Piers' 13th Annual Beach Jam - Fall Fest.

Both Mariner's Landing and Adventure Pier will be open from noon - 10 p.m. tonight (and 11 a.m - 5 p.m. tomorrow).

(Note: Tomorrow will be your last chance to ride the Great White in 2011, as Adventure Pier closes for the season. Mariner's Landing will be open for the first two weekends in October, then will be transformed for Morey's FEARS - Terror on the Boardwalk for the weekends of Oct. 15-16, 22-23, and 29-30).
