The original Philly location at Robbins Ave. |
A popular Philadelphia institution since 1977, Chickie's & Pete's is coming to Wildwood.
The restaurant chain is gearing up to open a stand on the south side of the Splash Zone Waterpark property, a structure most recently occupied by Burger King.
According to Chickie's & Pete's COO Roger Falloon, this will be a "limited menu" location.
"We will have some of our core staple items such as our world famous Crabfries, seasoned sweet potato fries, Crabby Sweets, Chickie’s Cutlets and Buffalo Cutlets, Chickie’s Wings and fried shrimp.
"We will also be serving Pepsi products," Falloon told Wildwood 365.
Falloon noted that they are pushing for a Mother's Day Weekend opening, but that the location will be ready by mid-May at the latest.
Wow, Al I proposed that they open a shop in my graduate thesis (2006). That makes me very happy!
