Deadline approaching for CMC "Toys for Tots" applications


PRESS RELEASE

COURT HOUSE — One week remains for applications to be filled at various Toys for Tots applications centers. Visit any of the following locations between now and Dec. 10:

Upper Township Municipal Building, Lower Township Municipal Building, Woodbine Municipal Building, Dennis Township Municipal Building and The Middle Township Municipal Building.

Only one application is needed per family with Photo ID and Children’s birth certificate. Please feel free to visit any one of the locations; you do not have to visit the location associated with your residence.

Two weeks remain to drop off your new unwrapped toys or monetary donations at one of our 125 Cape May County Toys for Tots locations through out the county. Toys will be collected through December 19.

Cape May County Toys for Tots was established in 1999 and the program has been in existence since 1947. In 2009 over 2,800 children in Cape May County received Toys and over 11, 000 Toys were donated purchased and distributed through Cape May County.

All of the toys and money collected in Cape May County go directly to Cape May County residents. All the hard work of volunteers during the 2010 campaign is in Memory of Toys for Tots founders, Mike Bertan and Bob Bethel.
