That may need to be amended to reflect the daily recognition the island seems to be garnering from travel sites and national media outlets this summer.
Yesterday, National Geographic Magazine named Wildwood among the towns with the Top 10 Boardwalks in the country, in a piece put together by Margaret Loftus.
This is the second recent honor for the Boardwalk, which was also named one of the U.S.'s best in a list published last week by Sherman's Travel. On Sunday, Wildwood was named one of the "Ten Best Beach Towns in America" by Smarter Travel.
