Project: United States of Wildwood

A recent brainstorming session of the Wildwood 365 braintrust (an oxymoron, to be sure) produced an idea for an interesting summertime project, one that will require a great deal of reader help.

Beginning July 4, we hope to initiate a daily feature that will run through late August. The goal of The United States of Wildwood is to find at least one family of Wildwood enthusiasts from every state in the country.

Obviously, New Jersey and nearby states like Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York will be no problem. But, can we find "Five Mile Beach" nuts in Montana, Idaho, and Alaska?

It's going to be a challenge, for sure, but one we feel can be accomplished.
