Harley Davidson shop abruptly closes

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Harley Davidson store on Rio Grande Ave. in Wildwood proper has suddenly closed.

Another store in Millville has also apparently ceased operations.

The Wildwood location - designed in "Neo Doo Wop" fashion to resemble a vintage movie theater - opened in the Spring of 2003, the follow-up to a successful Harley Davidson apparel shop on the Boardwalk.

The store had become a well known local landmark, and was a sponsor of the annual "Wildwood Spring Rally" and "Roar to the Shore" motorcycle rallies.
