Wildwood Crest is celebrating its centennial this year, with a variety of special events and commemorations planned throughout the summer.
The borough's official date of incorporation was April 6, 1910.
Tomorrow, primary festivities will kick off with an "Olde Tyme" carnival featuring games, live entertainment, and many planned surprises.
The event will kick off at 1 p.m. at Crest Pier. Cape Shore Sweet Adelines will perform from 2:30 to 3:30. Other activities will include pie-eating and retro dance contests, pony rides, and a photo booth.
The book "The First Hundred Years..." will be available for sale, a tribute to the Crest's history to this point with info and vintage photos of the community.
