Today's motorcycle run canceled

The "Ride the Wave" motorcycle run has been canceled due to wet weather and potentially dangerous road conditions. The event had originally been set to take place "rain or shine," but plans have changed according to the Wildwood Police Department.

Last year, 860 riders took part in the run, which began in Camden and ended at the Bolero Hotel Resort in central Wildwood. Over 1,200 were expected to ride this year, with proceeds from registration benefiting the Burlington County 200 Club and Camden and Gloucester County Hero Scholarship Funds.
