The Cape May County Herald has published 24 photos of damage caused by the Nor'Easter, taken by a North Wildwood police officer near 2nd & JFK Blvd.As reported earlier by MaryAnn Spoto of the Star-Ledger, the newly constructed dunes at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Aves. were destroyed over the weekend, as is evident in the pics.
Thanks so much for the pics and videos. Wildwood has been my fav vacation spot since I was 7 years old and I am now 48. I have only missed 1 year of not enjoying Wildwoods wonderful beaches. My family and I have been staying at the Adventurer Inn for the last couple of years and I can't believe what I saw on the video below that shows the water all the way up to the hotel. That beach is one of the longest beaches I have ever been on and it looked completely submerged. Please keep us updated. Hope some help is on the way!
