The final Doo Wop bus tours of the year will be run on Saturday, October 17 as part of the sixth annual Fabulous '50s Weekend festivities. Four tours will be run, with buses leaving from the Doo Wop Experience (Ocean & Burke Aves.) at 11 am, Noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm. The tour lasts approximately one hour.
Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under, with proceedes benefiting the Doo Wop Preservation League. The bus is heated and air conditioned, and handicapped-accessible.
Taking the tour is a great way to help support Doo Wop preservation in the Wildwoods, and to learn more about the cultural and historical significance of the island's architectural treasures.
