Crest Savings Reaffirms Support for Doo Wop

DWPL president Dan MacElrevey, Shirley Cruz, and Chuck Schumann receive check from Crest Savings Bank senior VP and branch administrator Jodie DiEduardo and president/CEO Jay M. Ford

As reported in last week's Wildwood Leader (Page 8) and this week's edition of the Cape May County Herald, the Wildwood-based Crest Savings Bank has renewed its "Jetson" level membership in the Doo Wop Preservation League.

Crest Savings has been a leading supporter of Doo Wop preservation among members of the Wildwoods' business community. It was responsible for financing the retro Starlight Ballroom sign in the lobby of the Wildwoods Convention Center; additionally, the CSB headquarters on Pacific Ave. features Doo Wop-inspired neon signage.

The bank's president and CEO, Jay M. Ford, presently sits on the DWPL's board of trustees.
