Check out this link from the exclusive online edition of the Cape May County Herald for video of a utility pole transformer explosion in Wildwood during the early a.m. hours this morning. There doesn't appear to be much further information on the incident at this time.
The site of the explosion has been reported as 229 W. Oak Ave., which is on the west side of the island, between New Jersey Ave. and Park Blvd. This is a good distance away from most well-known tourist attractions.
