The first day of summer is still 128 days away (June 21), but it feels a little closer now that Sam’s Pizza Palace has opened for the 2009 season!Earlier today, Sam's officially kicked off its 53rd season of operation, and fourth year in its new building, between 26th & Juniper on the Boardwalk.
With neighborhing Gateway 26 also open on weekends, and Sand Jamm and the Fudge Kitchen (Roberts Ave.) open year-round, the Boardwalk is slowly beginning to awaken from its long winter slumber.
It won't be long now (just keep thinking warm thoughts)...
