WILDWOOD CREST – Shore Fitness has announced the opening of an outdoor gym at
their Wildwood Crest location – which will be the largest outdoor gym on the Jersey Shore.
Construction begins this week and will complete in June, less than a month after opening the
indoor fitness spaces at their brand new Wildwood Crest gym - located at 6111 New Jersey
Avenue - and winning gold for “best gym” from Best of Jersey Shore 2024.
This premier outdoor gym will span 3,000 square feet and be open seasonally - spring,
summer, and fall. The space will be covered by both open air turf and rubber gym flooring,
completely tented with retractable walls to accommodate various weather scenarios, and
surrounded by privacy fencing.
Gym visitors will get a full gym experience in this outdoor space,
with free weights and strength and cardio machines available to them, as well as outdoor group
fitness classes.
This outdoor space nearly doubles the overall square footage of Shore Fitness Wildwood Crest and is the perfect compliment to the indoor spaces. Inside, members have already been enjoying the brand new premium studio space, outfitted with strength and cardio machines, free weights, Torque FitnessTM functional fitness system and sled, as well as the dedicated spin studio.
This outdoor gym is the pinnacle of Shore Fitness’ recent expansion and upgrades which aim to
elevate the fitness experience in the Wildwoods and the surrounding communities.
