THE WILDWOODS - USA Today announced that the Wildwoods' beautiful FREE beaches are in the running for "Best Beach in New Jersey" in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards 2024
Fans and supporters are encouraged to VOTE ONLINE for the Wildwoods' beaches, so they may be recognized as the #1 USA Today 10Best Beach in New Jersey in 2024. Supporters can vote once a day, every day, until the voting period ends on Monday, May 20 at noon.
The Wildwoods' sparkling, clean beaches, stretching for five miles across the shores of North Wildwood, Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, are unlike most seashore resort beaches in that they are so spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out; and unlike most New Jersey beach destinations, the Wildwoods' beaches are completely FREE with no beach tags required.
They are the perfect spot for swimming, soaking up the sun and relaxing on a hot summer day. For those looking for some adventure, the Wildwoods' beaches also serve as an ideal location for surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, power boating, jet skiing, sailing, kayaking and whale and dolphin watching.

Throughout the season, the Wildwoods' beaches also host several events, including championship soccer, lacrosse, baseball, beach volleyball, beach field hockey tournaments, the National Marbles Championships, The Race of Gentlemen Vintage Car & Motorcycle Beach Drag Races, monster truck races, motocross races, sand sculpting festivals, headline concerts, the Wildwoods International Kite Festival, Ultimate Beach Frisbee Championships and so much more.
