THE WILDWOODS - A heaping helping of olde world Italy will be served with amore and plenty of green, white and red during the 16th Annual Olde Time Italian Festival, taking place Friday, September 30 & Saturday, October 1.
Hosted by the Sons of Italy of Wildwood, the festival will take place at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue between Burk & Montgomery Avenues (across from the Wildwoods Convention Center). The festival runs Friday from 5 - 11 pm and Saturday from noon - 11 pm.
The FREE two-day festival celebrates Italian culture and heritage with Italian crafts, authentic Italian cuisine, kids' games, contests and continuous FREE live entertainment. Take in the mouthwatering smells and tastes of an old world Italian market, plus Italian-made goods, crafts and merchandise as vendors of all kinds fill Fox Park, including those selling Italian food favorites like pastas, sausages, chicken cutlets, clams & spaghetti, tiramisu, cannoli and more.
Experience the Procession of Saints and Mass on Friday at 5 pm, followed by live entertainment from Vito Picone & The Elegants, Zach Taglioli, Angelo Capone and more. On Saturday, starting at noon, the festival features Italian folk dancing, grape stomping competition and live entertainment by Tommy C, The Voice of Tribute, Lou Christie, King Arthur, Just In Time, The Reign Band and Anthony Bucci.
