Doo Wop Daiquiri
Ingredients
For 6-8 servings:
1 ½ cups white rum (Revolution Liquor recommends Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum)
½ to ¾ cup fresh squeezed lime juice (about 6 limes)
¼ to ⅓ cup simple syrup
1 16-ounce package of frozen strawberries
4 cups of ice cubes
Fresh strawberries and lime wedges for garnish
Once you have your ingredients, place the rum, lime juice, simple syrup, frozen strawberries, and ice cubes into a blender. Pulse consistently until blended to a slushy consistency. Once blended, the rest is up to you!
Want a more tart flavor? Add more lime juice. Like it sweeter? Add more simple syrup. A daiquiri is meant to be adjusted to your liking! Once you’re ready to serve, pour your daiquiri into glasses, garnish, and drink!
