THE WILDWOODS - The annual "Boots at the Beach" Country Music Festival returns to the North Wildwood Entertainment District along Olde New Jersey Avenue - Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18.
Presented by the Anglesea Irish Society and 5 Mile Isle Events, this marks the 6th annual event for the festival, and will feature three full days of country music, vendors, crafts, food and more.
Olde New Jersey Avenue will come alive during this three-day long event, with the sights and sounds of a country fair with vendors lining the street selling clothing, wares and all things country. Refreshments, food and live country music on two outdoor stages will take place all day long and into the night.
Admission to the festival is FREE!
The event hours are Friday from noon - 10 pm., Saturday from 10 am - 10 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm.
The following schedule of performances will take place on the Tito's Mockingbird Main Stage, located on Olde New Jersey Avenue:
Friday's featured country bands will be 40 North from noon - 3 pm; Nicki Briar and the Sweetbriar Band from 3:30 - 6:30 pm; and Shot of Southern from 7 - 10 pm, who are sure to get crowds on their feet for a foot-stompin' good time.
Saturday's featured bands are Steel Creek from noon - 3 pm; Wallace Brothers Band from 3:30 - 6:30 pm; and Triple Rail Turn from 7 - 10 pm.
Sunday's featured acts include an open mic where you might see the newest country stars. Marlin Disc Jockeys featuring DJ Dave Kim will be spinning tunes all weekend.
