West Wildwood rental property to offer "Pay What You Can" promotion for summer vacations

Vacationing is tough this year, but The West Side wants to help families on a budget...

PRESS RELEASE

WEST WILDWOOD - A rental property in West Wildwood named The West Side is offering a never before heard of promotion for Wildwood vacationers. With the cost of gas, food, and travel increasing, Wildwood vacations are becoming more difficult for many families. The West Side has created the “Pay What You Can” promotion to help and all reasonable offers are considered.

The property located at 650 W Glenwood Ave was purchased at the end of May by Jim Schickling, a US Navy disabled veteran. The first floor includes 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, and twin bunk beds, plus a futon for sleeping arrangements. Two bathrooms make it easy for families to get ready. A dining room plus eat in kitchen, living room plus sunroom, front and back porches, off street parking, AC, wifi, Roku TV and more are included in the home.

Schickling remembers his family trips to the shore as a kid, and knows that’s not something others should miss out on.

“When I put the property up for rent I saw things were different. There are many families that used to come to the Wildwoods for a week that can now only afford 2-4 days,” said Schickling. “I saw budgets were all over the place, and that’s why I decided to help with this promotion.”

Booking with the “Pay What You Can” promotion is easy. Guests simply visit the website, complete the contact form with dates and budget, and The West Side team will be in touch to find a trip. All reasonable offers will be considered and most dates are available for the promotion. Similar properties go for $279-$399 per night. Accepted bookings require payment within 24 hours of confirmation, renters must be over the age of 25, and no pets are permitted.

“We will review every message and see what we can do. I expect most people to be able to take advantage of this program,” said Schickling. “If we get a budget that is too small for the dates selected, we will suggest a shorter stay or alternate dates to help accommodate. I really want to make this work and if guests are flexible, so am I.”

The offer is only accessible through thewestsiderental.com/offer.

Renters not on a budget can instantly book on The West Side website or AirBNB, which “pays it forward” for the property to offer this promotion.
