The Wildwoods' jam-packed Easter Weekend of events offers fun for the whole family - Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17

THE WILDWOODS - The weather is starting to warm up, and so is the excitement for spring and outdoor Easter fun in the Wildwoods!

The Wildwoods are celebrating Easter Weekend, filled with fun family events - Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17.

On Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16, the Atlantic Coast Wrestling Association will host the Annual "War at the South Jersey Shore" National Folkstyle Wrestling Championships at the Wildwoods Convention Center. This youth wrestling tournament will feature over 50 weight classes spread across five age divisions, and a high school division with 15 weight classes. A girls' division, K-12, will also be featured along with an open division.

On Saturday, April 16, families can choose from three separate Easter egg hunts. Children 11 and under can hunt for eggs and gather candy and prizes during the Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt, on the beach in North Wildwood at 19th Avenue at noon.

Also at noon, just a few blocks down on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood, children 12 and under can participate in the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt for eggs containing toys by digging in the sand to find them. There will also be "golden eggs" which will contain a bigger prize.

The Step Back Foundation will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 9 am at Allen Park, located at 2200 Delaware Avenue in North Wildwood. Age groups include 1-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-10 years. Donations benefit student-athletes and families in Cape May County. For more information or to preregister, visit thestepbackfoundation.com.

Don't forget to make brunch or dinner reservations at one of the Wildwoods restaurants on Easter Sunday - April 17.

Easter Weekend is also a great time to "scout out" your summer vacation rental - plenty of great accommodations are still available for your summer stay, so this is the perfect time to solidify your Wildwoods vacation plans for the summer.
