With just a little over three months until the massive four-day concert festival on the Wildwood beach, big names continue to be added.
This morning, BCMF announced via social media that legendary rocker Bret Michaels and Walker Hayes (of “Fancy Like” fame) have been added to the 2022 lineup.
They will join headliners Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell, plus over 40 of country’s hottest and up-and-coming acts performing on the Wildwood beach - Thursday June 16 - Sunday, June 19.
Michaels, best known as the lead singer for Poison, has done it all in the entertainment world. The singer-songwriter/actor/producer has sold over 100 records worldwide, while continuing to expand his horizons. This has included several forays into the country genre, punctuated by his 2015 album True Grit.
A native of Butler, PA with New Jersey roots, Michaels caused a bit of a local stir 10 years ago when he shared a Facebook post of himself visiting his “old stomping ground” on the Wildwood beach. A decade later, he is finally returning to this very site to perform!
Hayes, meanwhile, broke into the mainstream in 2021 with his mega-hit “Fancy Like” - if you own a television, phone, radio or two ears, you’ve certainly heard the tune - which he performed at the 57th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards earlier this week.
The video, released only seven months ago, boasts a whopping 71 million views on YouTube.
The Alabama native scored three nominations at this year’s ACMs, including New Male Artist of the Year, and Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “Fancy Like.” He also performed his latest single, “AA” at the awards show.
Additional names announced for the 2022 BCMF include Dustin Lynch, Chris Jansen, Michael Ra, Matt Snell, Locash, Jameson Rogers, Priscilla Block, Rita Wilson, King Calaway, Ernest, Callista Clark and Cooper Alan.
Tickets are available now, with payment plans available, at www.BCMF.com.
