While summer ends, Pomeo's North Wildwood looks forward to a Second Season of event catering

PRESS RELEASE

NORTH WILDWOOD - Summer might be ending but that doesn't mean the island's businesses close up shop and disappear, contrary to what many vacationers believe.

After a successful summer, Pompeo's at 17th & Boardwalk looks forward to growing their catering options through the restaurant. Chef and owner Rich Merlino has years of experience in the catering business, which makes the decision to start catering through the restaurant an easy one.

"I enjoy catering because every event is different," said Merlino. "I am able to customize each event based on the customer's request, no matter if that means a simple family get-together or a high class wedding."

Pompeo's focuses on providing high quality food in an upscale setting on the Boardwalk. Their breakfast continuously had lines out the door, and dinners were off to a good start before being affected by the pandemic. 2022 will bring an even better menu, a redesigned dining room and more on-site events to the restaurant.

Catering options include pick-up or delivery from the city to the shore, depending on the size of the event. Minimum party size of 25 people is required and at least two weeks' notice is appreciated. Chef Merlino looks forward to bringing his experience to the area and is eager to work with party hosts to create the perfect menu.

Pompeo's is located at 1610 Boardwalk in North Wildwood. For more information, contact the restaurant at pompeoswildwood.com.
