Wildwood Crest to host drive-up holiday tree lighting ceremony Tuesday, December 1st

WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest will host a drive-up holiday tree lighting and bayfront decorating ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. along Sunset Lake at Atlanta and New Jersey avenues.

The event is free and open to the public. Due to executive orders by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy limiting the size of gatherings due to the current health crisis, attendees are asked to drive to the Sunset Lake area, park and remain in their vehicles during event.


The tree lighting ceremony will be simulcast live by 98.7 The Coast radio from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Attendees can listen to the broadcast in their vehicles. For those who cannot attend, a live video stream of the event will be available through the Borough of Wildwood Crest website at wildwoodcrest.org and on the official Borough of Wildwood Crest Facebook page.


The ceremony will include a visit from Santa Clausholiday-themed music and more. 


Rain/inclement weather date for the event is Thursday, Dec. 3.
