Wildwood Crest Reacreation Fall Programs

The following is a listing of fall programs offered by the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department:

Crest Recreation Trunk or Treat family event Oct. 29
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host its annual Trunk or Treat family event for the Halloween season on Monday, October 29, at 6 PM at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Children will dress up in their Halloween costumes and collect candy from vehicles decorated for the Halloween season. The event includes DJ entertainment, hayrides on the Wildwood Crest Bike Path, food and more. The event is free, except a small fee is required for hayrides. Owners of all participating vehicles will receive a gift and prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated vehicles. Vehicles must be registered by Friday, October 26. Wildwood Crest Tiny Tumblers gymnastics program
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host its Tiny Tumblers gymnastics program on Monday afternoons beginning October 10. Classes are open to children age 3 through grade 1. Children will attend one of two one-hour sessions each Monday, at 3:30 PM or 4:45 PM. Fee is $50 for eight sessions. Crest Recreation Adult Weight Train Class
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department offers its weight train class every Wednesday at 10 AM at the Crest Pier Recreation Center beginning October 10. This workout for adults is designed to teach the fundamentals of set weight training with a blend of low-impact cardio exercises. Beginners to advanced are welcome. Fee is $5 per class. A punch card good for any 20 Wildwood Crest fitness classes can be purchased for $80. No pre-registration is necessary. Call 609-523-0202 for more information.

Crest Recreation Adult Fitness Class
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department offers its adult fitness class every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10 AM at the Crest Pier Recreation Center beginning October 9. This exercise class for the “Baby Boomer” generation incorporates a blend of low-impact aerobic dance steps and light weight sculpting. The workout can be easily modified to accommodate all fitness levels. Beginners to advanced are welcome. Fee is $5 per class. Crest Recreation Zumba Dance Class
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department offers its Zumba dance class every Saturday at 9 AM at the at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Classes are open to men and women age 15 and older. Fee is $5 per class. A punch card good for any 20 Wildwood Crest fitness classes can be purchased for $80. No pre-registration is necessary. Call 609-523-0202 for more information.

Crest Recreation Aqua Flow Workout Class
The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department offers its aqua flow workout class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 AM at the Joseph Von Savage Memorial Pool. This instructed water aerobics class is open to all adults. Fee is $5 per class. A punch card good for any 20 Wildwood Crest fitness classes can be purchased for $80. Crest Pier October open recreation hours
Open recreation hours for Crest Pier Recreation Center for the month of October are as follows:
Monday: 6-9 PM for high school and adults
Tuesday: 3-6 PM for grades 1-8, 6-9 PM for high school and adults
Wednesday: 3-6 PM for grades 1-8, 6-9 PM for high school and adults
Thursday: 3-6 PM for grades 1-8, 6-9 PM for high school and adults
Friday: 3-6 PM for grades 1-8, 6-8 PM for high school and adults
Saturday: 11 AM-2 PM for grades 1-8, 2-5 PM for high school and adults (island residents only)
* Note: Open recreation schedule is subject to change due to holidays, special events, etc. … Sunday open recreation hours will return this winter.
