NEW Waves and Wheels Festival kicks off tomorrow in North Wildwood

It's always great to see new events added to the Wildwoods' post-Labor Day calendar.

Last year, North Wildwood debuted the Boots at the Beach, a country music festival that will return next weekend, September 16 & 17.

This weekend, the Anglesea Irish Society presents the inaugural Waves and Wheels Festival!

The FREE family-friendly event, which will be held along Olde New Jersey Avenue, is a celebration of all outdoor activities at the Jersey Shore.

Festival hours will be Friday from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Waves and Wheels will feature vendors, live entertainment and a variety of food options, including trucks and the seven establishments located in the festival area.

Dozens of local surf and skate shops will offer discounted merchandise and a variety vendors will feature outdoor activities, including surfing, skateboarding, SUP, kayaking, fishing, biking, running and boating.

The two-day event will also feature live music by Reggae and modern surf rock bands, including Jah Works, Predator Dub Assassins, The Bastard Sons of Captain Mey, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band and De Tierra Caliente.

Again, admission to the festival is FREE!
