Even as avid fans of the Wildwood Pizza Tour, we can't believe that the crew is preparing for its 10th (!!!) annual pie-sampling trip on the Boardwalk in August.
To commemorate the occasion, the WPT announced today that it will be hosting a 10th Birthday Beach Bash on Friday, August 5.
We are happy to be co-sponsoring the event, which will be held at Leaming Avenue, from 7 p.m to 10 p.m.
Entry fee is just $5 (seriously, what can you get these days for 5 bucks?) and will include:
* One slice of from each of the participating pizzerias (the last three WPT winners):
- Mack's Pizza
- Franconi's Pizza
- Olympic Flame
* One drink (draft birch beer, soda or water)
* Plus music, beach games, and a great spot to watch the weekly Friday night fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Additional slices, beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
