Wildwoods Beaches Make Top 10 List by Better Homes & Gardens

PRESS RELEASE

With its Doo Wop décor and wide, sandy free beaches, and world-class Boardwalk along with opportunities for fun at every turn, the Wildwoods have been named one of the 10 beaches for families in the United States by Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

In the magazine’s July issue, writer Larry Bleiberg stated, “From 1950s mod-style motels to boardwalk custard stands and amusement arcades, this classic Jersey Shore town packs a lot into its 5 miles.”

In his comments about the Wildwoods, Bleiberg also noted the Wildwoods’ appeal to families:

“Take the kids crabbing, show them your skee-ball prowess, then dance the night away at an evening concert,” he wrote.

“For the past few years the Wildwoods have been focusing on becoming a world-class destination for beach vacations,” said Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano. “It is exciting to watch as the world acknowledges what we here on Five Mile Island have known for years - the Wildwoods offer a great vacation experience for families of all ages.”
