Journey tribute band at Crest’s Centennial Park July 25


Enjoy the music of one the world’s most popular pop/rock bands of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s when Almost Journey, a Journey tribute band, takes the stage at Centennial Park on Saturday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Consisting of four talented musicians, Almost Journey regularly performs many of Journey’s most popular hits, such as “Wheel in the Sky,” “Lights,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” “Faithfully” and more. 

Formed a little more than four years ago, Almost Journey has quickly become one of the top tribute bands on the entertainment circuit, featuring the music of a band that has had 18 Top 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts during its long and distinguished career.

Based out of New York, Almost Journey was created by members of 2U, a long-running U2 tribute band that is one of the most popular and recognizable tribute bands on the East Coast.

Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.

Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.

The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series, supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission, consists of live music every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park through Sept. 5 and every Monday at Sunrise Park at Rambler Road from through Aug. 17.

Other upcoming entertainment includes acoustic rock with Simo & Dobbs on Monday, July 27 at Sunrise Park; classic rock with No Limit on Wednesday, July 29 at Centennial Park; and Jimmy Buffett’s greatest hits with Parrotbeach on Saturday, Aug. 1 at Centennial Park.
