Wildwoods Vietam Wall commemoration today/tonight includes parade, music and candlelight vigil


The Wildwoods will hold a special commemoration to honor Memorial Day Weekend today with the following events scheduled...

Parade - 4 p.m.

The parade will begin at Cresse Avenue and travel north to the Wildwoods Vietnam Wall at Ocean & Burk Avenues. The public is invited to join in - walking alongside the procession or riding in a decorated bike.

FREE Music in the Park  -  5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

At Fox Park (behind the Vietnam Wall on Ocean Avenue, between Burk & Montgomery Avenues).

Bring a chair or blanket, relax and enjoy live music into the evening.

Candlelight Vigil at Dusk

The public is invited to come together at the Wildwoods Vietnam Wall (directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center) to honor the memories of the men and women who lost their lives while serving our country.

The  true meaning of Memorial Day, as well as the respective 40th anniversary of the Vietnam War and the 5th anniversary of the installation of the Wildwoods Vietnam Wall will be acknowledged.
