Long-known by vacationers and locals as the place to see and be seen each summer, Wildwood’s Boardwalk now boasts of yet another accolade – a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor based on the wooden walk’s excellent reviews.
Also given a Certificate of Excellence was the Wildwoods’ Convention Center.
For Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr., a lifelong advocate of all things Wildwood, including its boardwalk, the award marks an important step in the revitalization of the city.
“I am glad to see how others perceive us knowing that our hard work is paying off.”
The city, recently ranked the number one rising vacation destination in the nation, has become a hot spot as an East Coast resort area.
Established in 2010, TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence is based on consistent, great reviews by travelers and is given to attractions, eateries and accommodations that receive top comments.
“We know what we have,” Troiano said, “and it’s great to see others appreciating our efforts.”
