New Jersey Monthly Magazine has selected the Wildwoods as their cover story for their 2014 Shore Guide issue, which hits select newsstands on Tuesday, May 20 and will be available all summer long.
Other issues from New Jersey Monthly are displayed for one month only, which makes this honor even more special for the Wildwoods.
“We are thrilled that New Jersey Monthly has selected the Wildwoods to profile for its summer issue,” said John Siciliano, executive director of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority. “The magazine has captured the Wildwoods perfectly as a destination - with something for everyone to enjoy,” he added.
New Jersey Monthly’s profile story ‘Wild About The Wildwoods’ is the ultimate guide to all things Wildwoods – including family fun, attractions, tramcars, Doo Wop architecture, dining, and even classic pizza parlors that keep families coming back year after year.
"Every year, the editorial staff at New Jersey Monthly chooses a special destination as the cover story for our Jersey Shore issue. The Wildwoods were an easy pick. We found no end to the Wildwood topics we wanted to cover, from the colorful history, to the totally cool architecture, to the array of restaurants and all of the fun attractions,” said Ken Schlager, editor of New Jersey Monthly.
All of the Wildwoods stories and information will also be available on New Jersey Monthly’s website (www.njmonthly.com) and Jersey Shore Beach Guide app, available free for Apple and Android phones.
