Just a final reminder - the 2014 NJ Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge will take place behind the Wildwoods Convention Center at 1 p.m. today!
Check in is at 10 p.m. for those participating.
This has become one of the biggest, most festive events of not just the winter/offseason months, but the entire year!
In 2013, a record 872 plungers raised an amazing
$250,000 for New Jersey Special Olympics!
And remember, you don't HAVE to participate by jumping into the frigid Atlantic. The spectacle (and it sure is a spectacle!) is FREE and open to the public to enjoy, and donations will be accepted inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.
